Funny thing is, someone posted on my blog regarding this very thing...they even "promoted" the empire blog..? I even emailed them weeks ago to offer an eye for an eye. Letting them know that I have a link to their site, how bout returning the favor...all in good fun, eh?
I guess not, they had to start out with a threat. I've already been deactivated, I can't help it if my friends are promoting the "other blog." Right?
I'm pondering how best to respond...I think I'll just give a link and show her this. What more can they do to me? It's not like I make any money here.
Really, their sudden Hitleresque moderation is why I started this blog in the first place...
Heck, I even just promoted a few of the sites she works on. Really, I think having another blog in town is good for the whole of Juneau.
Maybe since she controls the legislature website, lil miss Berkowitz is peeved and shook some trees? Who knows, it's all speculation at this juncture. I'll keep you all posted as to where this goes...hehehe...LOL...ROFLMAO! Ok, maybe not but...what the heck? Free country and all that blah blah blah...The media is always jumping on the right to free speech, so WTF?

I guess Free Speech only applies to the Empire! How outrageous can they be? My Goodness........little ole you is quite a threat to the Empire. Imagine that!

You have my word I did not make that letter up. I definitley like to rile things up a bit here but that letter is real...For what it's worth, I get several hundred visits a day...
I would send her the comments that show "someone" pasting their blog link to her just for the heck of it...then just keep doing your own deal. UNH will be leaving town soon so we will need to drum up another SEACC leaf licker or two for giggles, but I think your hits and contributors will continue to grow. Carbon copy Bob Hale when and if you do respond to Connie.
take the empire whining as a compliment. They have problems. McClathcey papers made less than one million on almost 500 mil in sales. Those sales down 9% from the comparable quarter last year. circulation off 5%. The Empire is more likely showing even worse financials. their only hope for any growth is online and your blog can potentially hurt them. keep up the good work coffin.

Aren't they s'posed to be promoting freedom of speech/of the press? Call Mr. Mertz! He'll save you, oh wait, I don't think he likes you since the whole bong hits fiasco.

So coffin D, is the empire lady striking back listing all of her favorite blog sites or what? Or is UNH coming back to haunt us with anonymous posts?
On the local front, JNU and SE. Alaska lost a good guy this past weekend in the passing of Lew Williams. His articles were one of the few items worth reading in the Empire and I will miss his realistic analysis and common sense approach to the issues facing us. His shoes will be hard to fill for sure.
